Database	Every player, club and manager rebuilt from real 2026/27 data across 45 divisions, plus Saudi Arabia, the MLS and Brazil. Abilities tuned against well-known rankings using AI.
Season & dates	Every screen shows 2026/27. Underneath, the game still runs on its 1997 calendar, but displays 2026 dates.
Money & wages	Fees, finances and wages have been rebalanced to 2026 levels.
Player values	A new price scale: stars cost what stars cost, ordinary players don't, and young players' premiums are capped.
Competitions	Premier League, Championship, League One and Two, Carabao Cup, Champions League, Europa and Conference League, Bundesliga, La Liga, FIFA World Cup and more.
Matchday	Five substitutes in every competition, and no limit on foreign players, at home or in Europe.
Work permits	Gone: no transfer falls through over a permit, and no player loses one.
